Pastor Of Mt. Yonah
John has served as Pastor of Mt. Yonah Baptist Church in Cleveland, Georgia since March 25, 2007. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Truett McConnell College.

After more than 40 years, God has allowed us to return to the beautiful North Georgia Mountains where Diana and I first met. I was a student at Truett McConnell College and served as Summer Youth Director of her church, Central Baptist Church in Gainesville, Georgia in 1968.
We now live on Mount Yonah where we have beautiful views all year long. We have owned this cabin since 2002, but were able to take up permanent residence here in 2007 when I left the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention of the Southern Baptist Convention.
