John Serves as Pastor of Mt. Yonah Baptist Church in Cleveland, Georgia. The church is a little over 50 years old.
One of the amazing things is that when John was a student at Truett McConnell College in Cleveland in 1967-69, the pastor at Mt. Yonah (Charles Harper) would let John and other ministry students preach on Wednesday night.
John also does revivals, conferences and consultations (with Churches, non-profits and businesses) across the United States.
John serves as chairman of trustees at Truett McConnell.

AS Pastor
Mt. Yonah Baptist Church is a small church near the cabin that John and Diana purchased 8 years ago. They are a great group of people, with a passion for missions and a desire to impact their region with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

SPECIAL MINISTRIES
John enjoys preaching, teaching and leading conferences and revivals. Since the late 1970's he has been leading conferences in church growth, planning and leadership.
He has preached in 48 states, 7 countries and more than 700 churches. He has spoken and/or taught in 8 seminaries, 7 colleges, Baptist associations, and 41 Baptist state conventions.
His current passion is in Biblical Leadership Conferences.
